Privacy
Ready Set Timer calculates the countdown in your browser. The timer controls do not send your duration, remaining time or timer state to a server. There are no accounts or analytics events.
Temporary timer storage
We use one session storage record, rst.timer.v1, in this tab to restore the current timer after refresh. It contains a schema version, configured duration, status, remaining milliseconds, deadline and whether expiry has been handled. It contains no name, task label, history or unique identifier.
Reset removes the record. Closing the tab normally ends the session. Browser recovery, duplicated tabs and browser storage controls can affect this behavior. If storage fails or a saved record is invalid, the page shows a warning. Cleared or absent records cannot always be distinguished from a first visit.
Shared links
Share duration puts an unstarted duration in the URL fragment. Ordinary page requests do not include that fragment. The link is shared only when you choose to copy or send it. Do not put personal details in feedback.
Hosting and advertisements
Cloudflare delivers the site’s static files and processes ordinary connection data such as IP address and request metadata under its own service terms. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Advertisements are inactive in this version. No advertising or consent scripts load. We may enable ads after checking the actual provider and regional consent requirements. Advertising code can access page content, including visible timer settings; any future activation must be described here. Refusing optional advertising consent will not block the timer.
Optional feedback
When you choose Give feedback, we load a Tally form to collect your message and optional category and email address. We send only fixed site, page, component, language, release and environment identifiers. We do not attach your timer settings or current timer state or page query string. Please leave out personal details.
We use feedback to improve the site and may use your optional email only for follow-up about your message. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and fixing product problems. Feedback is not a marketing subscription.
Tally receives your message and ordinary connection information, including your IP address. See Tally’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab). We remove the optional contact field and minimise personal details before sending feedback to OpenAI’s Codex for AI-assisted analysis. This processing uses external services and does not happen entirely on your device. International processing and provider recovery periods may apply; see OpenAI’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
Access is limited to the operator and authorised processing. We may keep restricted backups of feedback and review progress in Google Drive; see Google’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab). We review raw feedback and its backups for deletion after 90 days. Recovery periods may apply. We retain minimised improvement themes only while needed, and a person decides what to change.
